2010 Fifa World Cup Teams

The Swiss have qualified for a second successive World Cup finals something they haven't achieved since the sixties. Last time out they did well in the group phase beating favourites France into second place and became the first ever team to be eliminated from the tournament without conceding a goal when they went out to Ukraine on penalties in the second round.

Switzerland only lost one game in the qualifiers, but in what proved to be a very tight group they only just held on to the top spot, just edging out Greece right at the end.

This tournament has them in a tough group with Spain outright favourites to go through so Switzerland need to make sure they do their best against the other two teams to increase their chances of making the second round. [Latest Switzerland Squad News]
