2010 Fifa World Cup Teams

Something has clicked with Spain in the last couple of years and they carry an impressive run of form into the 2010 World Cup. They dominated their qualifying group taking maximum points, conceding only 5 goals, and finishing 11 points clear of all the other teams.

Coach Vicente del Bosque has the pleasure of taking a wealth of talent to South Africa that includes one of the best striker pairings around. Fernando Torres and David Villa have 60 international goals between them and expect to see plenty more at this tournament.

Spain were always the team that never quite fulfilled their massive potential but winning the 2008 European Championship rather convincingly put paid to that old maxim. No one doubts this time around that they have the potential to go all the way, not only do they have a very impressive squad but they have a winning mental attitude which has always seemed lacking in the past.
