2010 Fifa World Cup Teams

Mexico are a side with a long history in the World Cup but with not a lot to show for it, just two quarter-final placings their best effort and both remarkably on home soil. Like some other South American teams they show a lot of promise but never seem able to convert that when it comes to the finals.

El Tricolor certainly know how to score, putting four goals past El Salvador and three past Costa Rica during the qualifiers, and despite three defeats Mexico have proved to be a hard team to beat on the road to South Africa 2010.

Mexico have been in the top twenty World rankings for some years now and are taking a solid squad with plenty of International experience to the World Cup this time so their supporters will look for a good performance and maybe we can see them surpass Brazil for a change.
