2010 Fifa World Cup Teams

Despite an impressive World Cup record Germany go into this competition not one of the strong favourites to lift the cup and will be hoping that their experience can carry them through once again.

Germany are playing with a mixed squad, some regulars like Miroslav Klose and Bastian Schweinsteiger but they're taking 13 players with ten or less International caps. How much a risk that is will remain to be seen.

In previous World Cups their Group D opponents would have held no fear for Germany but now that the level of World football has risen these teams can not be taken for granted and could prove a tough challenge for a team that would seem to be in transition. [Latest Germany Squad News]
