Croatia enter their third successive World Cup with an impressive run in the qualifiers. They finished top of their group without losing a match, recording seven wins out of ten matches.
They surprised many in their first World Cup in France by reaching the semi-finals, eventually finishing third against Netherlands in the third place play-off. They couldn't repeat that feat in 2002 going home early with only a win against Italy to show for their travels.
Of their players only their rising star, Niko Kranjcar, is Croatian-based so they do have a mass of international experience and know how to score goals if the qualifiers are anything to go by. Group F should be fun to watch. [Latest Croatia Squad News]
