2006 Fifa World Cup Stadiums - Nuremberg

The reconstruction of the Frankenstadion has been designed with eco-friendly measures in mind. The stadium now boasts a massive rainwater collection system that can handle the watering and sprinkling needs for the ground, and incorporates an environment optimisation scheme to make use of limited resources.

Originally named the Municipal Stadium, the arena has been reconstructed and improved many times since being built in 1928. Home to 1. FC Nuremberg, the latest remodelling was completed in April 2005 at a cost of € 56m.

The Frankenstadion will host one of England's group matches and they'll arrive their to find a stadium packed with atmosphere and great facilities.
